Magus is a new Brazil´s strength in games production. Created in 2007, its existence has the objective to attend on a professional and creative way, the needs in electronic games a company may have. They are games that inspirate, transform and challenge people in Brazil and in the world. Magus counts on, today, with highly qualified professionals ( and the young gamer community members), own engine, located on Brazil´s cultural capital, the production uses high technology and its prices are below the world´s market average, that lets to make games with quality and on a quick and accessive way. Magus also actuates on teaching field, introducing their students practical knowledgement and the secret formulaes of the art to create games.

Finally, the magic term
Magus is one of this antique words that the meaning has changed many times in history. Originally it used to significate priest in persian language, then it became wizard, magician in latin. Today, the wizard is the one who has the knowledge to make changes, create special people that impress, whole worlds that enchant. It is the knowledge that permits to work deeply with conscience, or simply to have a new vision and live on it. Many wizards indicate a better way for people to follow or help to better their life with wonderful experiences. There we find the magic that a game takes part, and as a result, to teach how to develop games. There are no better words to describe what we do.

Ludens? Ludic?
Ludens means " the one that plays". Magus Ludens, or, "the player wizard" is a term that reveals a bit the changing and discovering that comes along with the new generation. Specialists had already discovered that playing comes along with humanes from born until death, and it comes before speaking! The comprehension about playing is the raw material of our creative work in Magus.

To have a vision and walk straight into it.
We believe in transformation. Everyday there is more comprehention about the nature of games, more researches and studies are ordered, they are applyed in more classes and utilities, even to help companies or entertain people, that became part of the culture and an irreversible road to the society. And what´s better about games? Everything imagination and creativity allows.
